This is a list of the software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend. Maybe it can helpful for you 🙂.

Workstation

  • 16” MacBook Pro from 2018

    I'm still sticking with the 2018 model Macbook Pro with the Touch Bar. I'm not a fan of the Touch Bar but I'm sticking with this one until it dies.

  • Onboard Trackpad

    I’ve tried a bunch of different mice and trackpads over the years but I always come back to the built-in trackpad on my MacBook Pro.

Development tools

  • VS Code

    I’ve tried a bunch of different editors over the years but VS Code is the one that’s stuck. I love the ecosystem of plugins and the fact that it’s built on top of Electron so I can use it on any platform. The best plugin by far is the Vim plugin.

  • Warp

    The terminal I'm using on my Macbook right now is Warp. It is incredible.

Productivity

  • Raycast

    The amount on use Raycast offers is insane. I use it for everything from opening apps to running scripts to searching my notes. It’s the first thing I install on a new Mac.

  • Notes App

    I use the Notes app on my Mac for all my notes. I’ve tried a bunch of different apps but I keep coming back to Notes. It’s simple, fast, and syncs across all my devices.

  • Focus

    Simple tool for blocking distracting websites when I need to just do the work and get some momentum going.
